In 2011 GPJ were engaged to create the Connected House, an environment designed to convey a vision of the Connected Life. Under my stewardship, we recognised the potential for this industry overview and created a series of increasingly ambitious environments.
By 2016 the Innovation City covered 2,000 square metres and welcomed an estimated 28,000 attendees. The immersive, seamless environment was filled with a spectacular breadth of demonstrations showcasing a completely connected, digital world. The compelling activations attracted the world’s media and the installation acted as the broadcast hub for CNN, Sky and the BBC. We had created the future.
